Game Development Tutorial Part 2 - Construct 2 - Creating Tiled Background

- Ok, welcome back. This is Part 2 on developing 2D game with Construct 2. You can get 1st part of this series here. 

- In this part, I will show you "how to create tiled background" in white space of our project. 

Step 1 : Right Click anywhere (in white space), and click 'insert new object' as shown in image below.

Step 2 : See in 'general section'. Click 'Tiled Background' and then click 'Insert'. Refer image below.

Step 3 : Click anywhere in white space. Then you will get box as shown in figure below.

Step 4 : Now, load image for background. See image below for where to click. Mouse pointer is placed in position of click. Click there and load image.

Step 4 : Once you select image for background. Then close that box. And you will get screen like below.

Step 5 : Click on white space. And notice layout size in left side of screen. Refer image below. I've highlighted it. (1708,960). Copy that selected 'layout size'.

Step 6 : Now, click your loaded background image. And paste that copied size to 'size' section as shown in figure below. Also change position to 0,0. Refer image below.

Step 7 : Screen like below will appear, where our chosen BG image will now take up all white space in project section.
